The Barren Mort is square (23,23), adopted by Sulmur as a creating ground for his monstrous creations, the Mort Terrors∞.
The Barren Mort is, as stated, a barren land, largely devoid of substantial life with exception of the mortivores, though it is not totally inhospitable. Some mundane creatures do inhabit the area, such as a herd of half-crazed elephants, but, owing to the nature of the Mort Terrors, most creatures of all kinds avoid the area at all cost. This is the home of the Mortivores∞.
The Barren Mort is lightly hilled, with gray, dusty earth stretching in every direction, broken only lightly by trees and other plants.
