Ghosts

Spirits of the dead, Ghost's are a form of incorporeal undead. Forming a vast range of ability, and sanity, Ghosts are amongst the most varied form of Undead.

For whatever reason, Ghosts have not moved on to the next stage of life. Perhaps they have something left behind, some sort of unresolved dilemma so significant it has chained them down. Some terrible wrong may have been done against them, and they seek some sort of justice. Or, there may be some unnatural magic keeping them trapped.

Most ghosts generally are not harmful. But, those that are can be truly terrible. Many murders have been attributed to angry ghosts. All too often, the victims are innocent of any wrong doing. However, so consumed are they by madness and anger that they bring about suffering to everything around them.

Some Ghosts have been shown to be able to create other undead. Generally these take the form of the unintelligent, souless variety, but every so often there are rumors of them cursing others with undeath.
