Orks
Orks were created by Burkek, then he left the universe (along with Belial, Somi, and all of their followers) and they disappeared.
Pohloh didn't want such an amusing group to stop existing, though, so he took a few shreds of ork that he found and created both orks and their little
slaves pets companions the goblins (or 'grots'). The orks were essentially unchanged in nature, though a bit less cannabilistic (but not a lot less). The goblins have an instinctive urge to provide the orks with housing and assistance whenever possible, and so they build and build and build and make sure that there are always enough hovels for the orks to live in (and a few hovels for goblins, too).
